Publication & Indexing

 

After the conference, the authors can have one of the following choices for publishing their papers:

Choice 1: The authors can have their papers be included in an edited, peer-reviewed book (proceedings) published by Springer. After publication, the publisher will submit the articles to major indexing databases, including EI Compendex, Scopus, for review and indexing. Each accepted paper will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100 / CNY 720.

Choice 2: The authors can also submit their papers to Journal of Environmental Informatics Letters which is a Scopus-indexed, open access journal published by the International Society for Environmental Informatics. No publication fee (APC) will be charged.

Choice 3: The authors can also submit their papers to the International Journal of Global Environmental Issues. There is no charge for publishing in this journal, unless you choose the option of Open Access (OA) with an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 2,500 per accepted article (the usual fee is USD 3,000). Choice 4: The authors can also submit their papers to Water (ISSN: 2073-4441), which is indexed within SCI (Web of Science), Scopus, EI Compendex, etc., with an SCI Impact Factor of 3.0 (2024). There is no charges for publishing in its special issue of "Security and Management of Water and Renewable Energy", unless you choose Open Access. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for Open Access is CHF 2,600 per accepted article. If you are interested, the conference may be able to offer a discount on the APC.
